Launch of the inclusive University- Industry digital learning platform
After the O3 was completed, a workshop was held to launch the University-Industry cMOOCs Platform. The event was held with the involvement of all key stakeholders from participating countries. Due to the nature of the project, some participants have also joined remotely (online). The launch event was a 02-day event to conduct the following 04 main sequential sessions. The event was conducted as a ‘blended’ activity and it was conducted in 2 sessions; 1. Mock/Pilot workshop 3. Feedback Session.
For the first session, UCLan hosted the Pilot Workshop for introducing the developed prototype and collected participants feedback on aspects to be improved in the platform. The Pilot workshop was held with the participation of mainly PhD students and academics. The model was refined from the session 1 feedback and thereafter a stakeholder workshop, in the form of a launching event of the prototype hybrid-cMOOC platform was held. This followed-up discussion was an opportunity to discourse the findings and recommendations for policy in the areas of digital transformation on DRR, and the importance of university-industry knowledge exchange in DRR. Based on the key discussion aspects, policy recommendations were identified and presented as a policy brief and will be disseminated via the online research repository (O5).
